What We Carry

We hear again and again from customers that Gepetto's is the sort of toy store they once encountered as a child!  We love hearing that and comments about the charm of the custom woodwork, tin ceilings and gorgeous stairway to our upper level.

Our Upper level is where we stock items for infants through about age 3.  This includes a good selection of books, including board books, fabrics books and classics and new read-to-me books to be shared with children.  Cloud B, Playmobil, Stieff and Gund plush animals, Learning Resources, Fisher Price, Educo, Kidooze, Melissa and Doug, Early Years, Battat, Viking Toys, Lamaze, Bruner, Tolo, Hape and Myland are among the brands you will find here.  We also have a nice collection of push and pull toys and various ride and roll devices.

Our West side is the main entrance where you will enter passing collector Steiff and Madame Alexander dolls and animals as well as Baby Stella, Corolle, Gund, Melissa and Doug, Adora, Gotz and Kinderland dolls, doll clothes and accessories.  Continuing back through the store will bring you to an arts area featuring Faber-Castell, Klutz, Alex, Melissa and Doug and other brands including a variety of craft projects, felting, knitting, jewelry making and coloring books, sticker books and things like Shrinky Dinks and other fun things to explore and create with.  Continuing back in this side brings you puppets, contemporary and classic games, puzzles, Dinosaurs, Boogie Boards, Schliech animals, banks, archaeology and fossil exploration, logic games, magnetic boards, musical instruments, food and cooking toys and more!

Our East side of the store is where you will find active indoor and outdoor activities, science books, polished gems, microscopes and other child appropriate science instruments, STEM activities including magnetic, wood, metal and plastic construction sets.  Marble mazes, Bruder and other trucks, die cast cars and planes, Matchbox and Hot Wheel Cars, Thomas and Brio Trains, an extensive Playmobil and Calico Critter collection and a plethora of Breyer and other horses and horse accessories are all here.  Our very large plush animals and rocking horses and wagons and riding toys are also here.

We have just started on our 36th year here on Main Street in downtown Stevens Point.  We take pride in being locally owned and managed all those years.  Our customers bring us great joy as we have the privilege of serving customers with children in tow who were mere children themselves when they first entered the store.  We look forward to serving future generations again and again!
